Davines Essential Melu - Sustainable hair care free from sulfates and parabens.

The Davines Essential Melu hair care line was developed specifically for brittle and damaged hair. Using a specially developed filtration process, Davines gently extracts the rich extracts of the Villalba lentil, which is also rich in serine – a key component of creatine, which is so important for healthy hair growth. Serine, as a component of an amino acid, has a restorative and repairing effect. The extracted Villalba lentils are also characterized by their high content of essential iron and protein.

On Mr. Di Gesu's farm in Villalba, Caltanisetta, Villaba lentils are cultivated sustainably and with care. The Altamura lentil, belonging to the same genus, is also typical of this extremely warm region. Between the 1930s and 1960s, 30% of all lentils grown in Italy came from this region. After students from the National Research Center discovered the exceptionally beneficial properties of the Villalba lentil in the 1990s, its cultivation was revived.
